General Cutting Tools is a family-owned business that has been operating since 1979. In the last two years our business has grown substantially and is expanding into global markets. We are currently accepting applications for a CNC Tool and Cutter Grinder to set up and operate an Anca grinding machine.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Set-up, and operate jobs with limited supervision or assistance
- Manufacture special tooling to detailed print specification
- Regrind used tooling
- Specific experience grinding end mills, drills, step tools, and similar tools
- Strong detail orientation and have the ability to accurately produce quality products
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 year experience from any of the following machine applications: Rollomatic grinders, Walter grinders, and ANCA machines
- Experience grinding carbide end mills and drills using CNC tool grinding machines
- Strong math skills
You should be proficient in:
- Machine Setups for Production Runs
- Blueprint Reading
- Quality Inspection Experience
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Shop Math Skills
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
