Freud’s revolutionary Quadra-Cut™ router bits redefine woodworking precision with innovative, patented technology that solves common routing challenges. Designed to deliver unparalleled results, these bits create flawless finishes on both hard and softwoods, eliminating the need for rework, sanding, or extra passes. Traditional router bits, limited to just two cutters, often leave behind splinters, fuzz, or tear-outs—especially on cross-grain cuts. This leads to time-consuming sanding and risks damaging your workpiece, ultimately compromising quality. Freud’s Quadra-Cut™ technology, an industry first, incorporates four precision-engineered cutting edges—double the standard. This patented design ensures a flawless finish on every pass, even on delicate materials. The first pair of cutting edges known as “Up-Shear Cutters” removes most of the material with an upward slicing motion, leaving a smooth bottom edge. While the second set of cutting edges, “Down-Shear Cutters,” follows with a downward slicing motion, perfecting the top edge and reducing tear-out to virtually zero. This dynamic pairing reduces vibration, improves energy efficiency, and ensures precise, professional results with minimal effort. Whether you’re crafting furniture, cabinetry, or intricate detailing, Freud’s Quadra-Cut™ router bits let you focus on creating, not correcting. For woodworkers who demand perfection, these bits are the ultimate solution.

• Quadra-Cut™ 4-Cutter technology features two large cutters that shear upward to quickly remove bulk material, while two smaller cutters shear downward, ensuring a smooth, splinter-free finish.
• Freud-made TiCo™ Hi-Density Carbide with Titanium maximizes cutting life and material finish.
• Multi-axis grinding provides consistent relief angles on the entire cutting edge, which reduces burning and provides a flawless finish.
• Perma-SHIELD® non-stick coating reduces friction and resin adhesion while preventing corrosion for less work and cleaner cuts.
• Tri-metal brazing consists of copper sandwiched between two layers of silver alloy to create a stronger, more impact-resistant bond between the carbide and the bit
• Kickback-reducing design restricts the amount of material that can be fed, reducing the effects of kickback from overfeeding.
• The 1/2” shanks allow woodworkers or professional job site installers to use a handheld router or a collet table router.
• Decorative Edge Quadra-Cut™ Router Bit Set features (1) 1-5/8” Roman Ogee large bit (38-106), (1) 1-11/16” Cove & Bead bit (38-314), (1) 1-3/8” Classical Cove & Bead bit (38-362), (1) 1-5/8” Classical Cove & Roundover bit (38-614), (1) 1-5/8” Classical Roman Ogee bit (99-005), (1) 1-13/32” Cove& Bead small bit (38-312), (1) 1-5/16” Roman Ogee small bit (38-104), (1) 1-5/8” Double Fillet Ogee bit (99-003), (1) 1-5/8” Table Top Classical Bold bit (99-011), (1) 1-5/8” ½ Radius Roundover/Beading bit (34-126), (1) 1/2″ bearing to convert 34-126 to Beading (62-104), (1) 3/8″ step washer (62-311), and (1) 2.5 mm wrench (62-402).
